- Gradually add cold water to the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter reaches a smooth consistency.
- Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels. Dip each fillet into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the battered fish in small batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
