Ingredients

1 cup fresh blackberries

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/3 cup honey or granulated sugar

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Instructions

1. In a blender, combine the fresh blackberries and honey (or sugar). Blend until smooth.

2. Pour the blackberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds.

3. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

4. Add the cold water to the pitcher and mix well.

5. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the blackberry lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Notes

For a fizzy version, substitute cold water with sparkling water.

Add a few basil leaves for an aromatic touch.
