- 200 grams almond paste
- 225 grams butter (softened)
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 250 grams all-purpose flour
- Pinch of sal
- Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine almond paste, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Gradually fold in the flour and salt to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and flatten slightly.
- Place a small spoonful of almond paste in the center of each cookie.
- Fold the edges of the dough around the almond paste to seal it inside.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool on a wire rack. Optionally dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a more indulgent treat, drizzle with a simple glaze made of powdered sugar and milk.
- You can freeze the dough for later use. Freeze the shaped dough balls and bake directly from the freezer.
