Description
A quick and healthy Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast made with just a slice of bread, an egg, and cheese. Ideal for busy mornings or solo meals.
Ingredients
1 slice sandwich bread
1 egg
2 tbsp shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: chopped parsley, chili flakes, avocado
Instructions
1. Use the back of a spoon to press the center of the bread, forming a shallow well.
2. Crack the egg into the center of the bread.
3. Sprinkle cheese around the egg and season with salt and pepper.
4. Place toast in air fryer basket.
5. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6–9 minutes depending on yolk preference.
6. Garnish with parsley, chili flakes, or avocado if desired.
Notes
For crispy toast, use thicker bread. Add bacon bits or diced tomato for variety.
